As a landlord the Council aims to balance the needs of all its tenants by

access to employment opportunities and local amenities
The first areas to be considered for local lettings policies are the new
council house building developments at the site of the former Custom House Lane
School in Connah鈥檚 Quay and The Walks in Flint.
Councillor Helen Brown, Cabinet Member for Housing said:
鈥淟ocal letting policies could assist the council respond effectively to local
housing issues, which in turn would help develop create and maintain vibrant
neighbourhoods for all our tenants.
The proposed council led social housing developments in Connahs Quay and
Flint, currently being considered for planning permission, provide an ideal
