We are open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.

Please be aware that over the Christmas period your waste and recycling may be collected at a different time or on a slightly different day to your usual scheduled collection. Due to an increase in recycling volumes over the holiday period, recycling such as cardboard and plastics may not all be collected at the same time and could be collected by separate vehicles. Can you please ensure that any large cardboard packaging is reduced down in size to ensure it fits in the collection vehicle.

If you have additional recycling to dispose of please take to your nearest Household Recycling Centre.

Waste and Recycling Collections

Similar to previous years, please do not raise missed collections for the Christmas period. We will resume taking missed collections from 2 January 2026.

Some collection dates are changing over the festive period. If your collection falls on one of the affected dates, please place your items out on the revised collection dates listed below.

• If your collection falls on Thursday 25 December it will be collected on Saturday 27 December
• If your collection falls on Friday 26 December, it will be collected on Sunday 28 December
• If your collection falls on Thursday 1 January, it will be collected on Saturday 3 January

Household Recycling Centres

*Greenfield and Buckley household recycling centres will be open for one extra day on Wednesday 31st December from 9am until 4pm.
