Childrens Art Week comes to ÌìÑÄÉçÇø
  		Published: 01/06/2015
Childrens Art Week (13 to 21 June) will see thousands of children, their
teachers and their families descending on visual arts venues, schools,
libraries and youth and community organisations across the UK, to be inspired,
engaged and entertained by art.
In ÌìÑÄÉçÇø, children and their families can come and join Ruth Thomas and
Fakhra Richardson to create beautiful mono prints to celebrate Children’s Art
Week on the theme of ‘Plants and Bugs’.
Councillor Chris Bithell, Cabinet Member for Education, said:
These workshops are suitable for all ages and abilities but children under
eight will need to be accompanied by an adult. Participants will be using a
variety of printmaking techniques to make artwork based on ‘Plants and Bugs’ in
various locations across ÌìÑÄÉçÇø.
All workshops are free but booking is essential as spaces are limited to 12
children per workshop.
