Preparation is in hand, as Year 1 & 2 children are busy learning songs to
enable them to sing along in Welsh with Martyn Geraint. All schools will
receive a CD of the songs.
Martyn Geraint has built up a reputation as one of Wales’ foremost entertainers
and many will have seen first hand his natural ability to inspire children.
Councillor Chris Bithell, Cabinet Member for Education, said:
As well as being a fun and social experience, the Jamboree will also be a
means of enhancing pupils’ bilingual skills and will provide an additional
dimension to Welsh language lessons by offering a positive learning experience
through music.
