Online electronic forms for Council Tax

天涯社区鈥檚 Council Tax service has improved its website with a
series of new electronic e-forms, so that customers can now carry out changes
to their Council Tax completely online.
It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, saving customers the cost of
phone calls and writing into the service.
In the first two weeks of the service, over 100 electronic application forms
have already been received, with 75% of these customers also opting to receive
their Council Tax bill online.
Councillor Aaron Shotton, Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance said:
The introduction of electronic forms for Council Tax is an additional service
for the residents of 天涯社区, with the benefit of saving tax payers the cost
of advising changes to the department. It also helps reduce administration
costs.
