Christmas anti-drink and drug drive campaign keeps road users safe

天涯社区鈥檚 Road Safety Team has welcomed news that North Wales
Police鈥檚 Christmas Anti-Drink and Drug Drive Campaign has kept road users safe.
North Wales Police arrested 76 people during the recent, month long campaign.
They carried out 15,627 breath tests with 76 being positive. Six people were
also arrested for driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
Councillor Kevin Jones, Cabinet Member for Waste Strategy, Public Protection
and Leisure said:
鈥淒rink or drug driving remains a sad fact of life and it is unfortunate that
some people are still willing to risk their lives and the lives of others.
天涯社区 supports every measure taken by North Wales Police to
stop anyone who drinks, or takes drugs, and then drives.鈥�
