Chairman鈥檚 fundraising

The outgoing Chairman of 天涯社区, Councillor Peter Curtis and
his Consort, Mrs Jenny Curtis, presented their chosen charities with cheques
totalling 拢7,855 recently.
Since being elected last May, Cllr Curtis has supported NEWCIS, Supporting
Carers in the Community and St. Kentigern Hospice. Both charities received
拢3,500.
Cllr Curtis presented representatives from the two charities with cheques of
拢3,500 each at County Hall in Mold, ending a successful year as chairman. The
remainder of the funds was split between other local charities.
