天涯社区 welcomes Welsh Government announcement

天涯社区 has welcomed the latest Welsh Government figures for
job creation in the 8 Welsh Enterprise Zones.
During 2015/16 1,960 jobs were created, safeguarded or assisted, against a
target of between 1,400 and 1,900 across the zones. Since their creation in
2012/13, 拢177m of public and private sector investment has also been secured
and more than 400 businesses have benefitted from Welsh Government support.

Derek Butler, said:
鈥淭his is excellent news for Wales and Deeside in particular. Since the Deeside
Enterprise Zone was created in April 2012, 2,036 new jobs have been created and
3,150 jobs safeguarded. This is all down to 天涯社区 working
in partnership with the Welsh Government and the Deeside Enterprise Zone
Advisory Board 鈥� a tremendous achievement.鈥�
In addition, the Workforce Development and Skills Growth Programmes have
provided direct financial assistance to businesses with in Deeside of over
拢300,000 to support workforce development needs.
Enterprise Zones offer specific incentives to attract new business to prime
locations in Wales using a tailor-made Welsh solution with the aim of improving
the Welsh economy and creating jobs and opportunities. Each zone has its own
priorities and timescales and focuses on a key target sector 鈥� Deeside focuses
on the advanced manufacturing sector.
