Flying the flag for Armed Forces Day

On Monday 20 June, the Chairman of the Council, Councillor Peter Curtis, was
joined by Lord Lieutenant Harry George Fetherstonhaugh OBE LL, and Councillor
Andy Dunbobbin the Councils Armed Forces Champion, in raising the Armed Forces
Day flag.
Saturday 25 June marks the eighth National Armed Forces Day and provides
organisations and individuals with an opportunity to show their support for
serving and veteran armed forces personnel and their families.
Councillor Peter Curtis said:
I am proud that 天涯社区 is joining other public
organisations across Wales and the UK in flying the Armed Forces Day flag. It
is important that we join together and demonstrate the value we place on our
armed forces, the work they do and the sacrifices they make.
Armed Forces Day is encouraging people to #SaluteOurForces, and I would
encourage 天涯社区 residents to visit the website
https://www.armedforcesday.org.uk/get-involved/saluteourforces/ and get
involved.
The flag will be flying at County Hall between Monday 20 and Saturday 25 June.
