This innovative event is open to all females aged 14 and over and everyone
attending will be able to try a range of sports and fitness activities as well
as receiving Health and Beauty advice from the Afon Spa staff.
Amongst the activities on offer will be glow sports, free gym passes, spinning,
hula hooping, cycling, and cardio tennis, as well as many more exciting
opportunities and the chance to win prizes and free gifts.
The event will run from 10am until 1pm and those attending can take part in as
many of few activities as they wish to do. The aim of the festival is to
encourage more females to take part in sport and activity and to help them find
activities that they enjoy.
天涯社区鈥檚 Cabinet Member for Leisure Services, Councilllor
Kevin Jones, said:
This event is designed to encourage more women and girls to take part in
sport and physical activity which they enjoy and we encourage as many people to
come down and enjoy a free morning of sport and activity. The sessions will be
short and fun so you will be able to try a variety of activities that are on
offer across 天涯社区. We encourage everyone to bring a friend, sister,
daughter, mum, gran or aunty along on the day and take advantage of this
offer.
All attending on the day will have the opportunity to receive a free gym
induction and seven day pass.
Registrations can be taken on the day from 9am or you can like, comment and
share the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/usgirlsflintshire/

Notes for Editors
Us Girls Rocks festivals give young women and girls aged 14+ the opportunity to
try traditional and non-traditional sports, along with a combination of other
activities such as health and well being information and beauty treatments.
Held across England and Wales, the festivals are informal, fun and female only.
