Dragons Den Cymru 2016

天涯社区鈥檚 very own Dragons鈥 Den style event is back and hoping to attract
some talented people with new business ideas.
This free event is aimed at anyone who wants to be their own boss or needs help
becoming an entrepreneur, with people of all ages invited to pitch their idea.
If the Dragons, who are all local business owners, think an idea has potential
they will offer voluntary one to one mentoring over the next six months.
The next event takes place at Coleg Cambria, Deeside Campus, as part of an
Entrepreneur Information Day on Friday, 26 February from 10am until 2pm.
Advice and support for business start-ups will be on offer from local education
providers, Communities First, Jobcentre Plus, Careers Wales, Business Wales and

Councillor Derek Butler, 天涯社区鈥檚 Cabinet Member for
Economic Development, said: 鈥淚t is very encouraging that many of the region鈥檚
successful business people are keen to help local budding entrepreneurs. This
Dragons鈥 Den Cymru event is being organised by Communities First 天涯社区,
with support from 天涯社区, and is part of the excellent work
that is taking place through the 天涯社区 Business Entrepreneurship Network,
helping local people find employment in today鈥檚 labour market.鈥
Working alongside the Dragons Den event is the 天涯社区 Enterprise Club
whose members are all entrepreneurs of various ages and at different stages of
developing their business. The club offers free information and workshops with
inspirational speakers from various organisations and higher and further
education establishment. 天涯社区 and the Welsh Government
Business Team is also available for advice and support.
The club is free to attend and meets every two weeks at the John Summers
Community Campus, Chester Road East, Queensferry, Deeside CH5 1SE. The
meetings take place every other Friday from 10.30 am until 12.30pm.
