Pass Plus Cymru course for new drivers

New drivers aged between 17 and 25 who have recently passed their test can
benefit from a Government funded Pass Plus Cymru course.
Any young person, aged 17-25 who has passed their test, and lives in Wales can
benefit from the course at a subsidised cost of just 拢20. The course aims to
reduce the number of young people killed or seriously injured in road traffic
incidents and covers:
鈥� The dangers of using a mobile phone whilst driving
鈥� The dangers of drink and drugs while driving
鈥� Heading off on the motorway
鈥� Driving techniques and hazard awareness
鈥� Getting around at night
鈥� Coping with busy towns and cities
鈥� Driving on rural country roads
Councillor Bernie Attridge, 天涯社区s Cabinet member for
Environment said: The aim of these courses is to achieve better driving skills
and reduce the risk of a collision or injuring yourself, friends and others. I
would encourage all new drivers of this age to take this opportunity and
participate in Pass Plus Cymru to learn new driving skills and keep safe.
