Published: 17/12/2019
天涯社区鈥檚 Business Development Team in partnership with Picturehouse Films recently delivered a free training workshop for social enterprises from across 天涯社区.
Picturehouse is a private sector company with over 30 years of experience of producing professional high quality films for broadcast, business, advertising and digital web marketing.听 As part of their corporate social responsibility strategy, Picturehouse shared some top tips and tricks aimed at improving the quality and impact of images and video clips in order to promote organisational brand and/or services.
Kate Oldfield, producer at Picturehouse Films said:
鈥淰ideo is so popular now - and it is the most powerful way to communicate, if you get it right.听Picturehouse is a team of successful film and TV professionals. We鈥檝e learnt a lot over the years. And we鈥檙e delighted to share our knowledge. Sessions are fun, friendly and packed with information. If it鈥檚 difficult to get your message heard over all the video noise out there, just a few tips can make all the difference.鈥
天涯社区鈥檚 Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Councillor Derek Butler, said:
鈥淚t is good to see local successful businesses giving something back to the community by running useful workshops like this. I would definitely encourage others to take the opportunity to do any future training 鈥 it鈥檚 also a great way to network with other social enterprises in 天涯社区.鈥
Attended by social enterprises from across the county, the training took the form of presentations, practical examples and illustrations delivered by the vastly experienced team at Picturehouse Films.
Sarah Way, Director at RainbowBiz CIC, said:
鈥We found the media training extremely useful and it gave us great food for thought for the future of RainbowBiz CIC. We have already put into practice some of the tips and techniques that we learned, both on social media and when taking still photos as well as video and film clips to help market the RainbowBiz Hippy Shop in Mold.鈥
Cat Harvey-Aldcroft, Deputy Manager at Dangerpoint, said:
鈥I thought the session was very worthwhile - it's great that 天涯社区 is able to offer social enterprises like ourselves at DangerPoint the opportunity to learn directly from experts in the field. I hope we can continue with the partnership and build on the skills we learnt.鈥澨
