Published: 24/06/2019
Improvements to a 天涯社区 primary school has moved a step closer.
天涯社区 is pleased to announce that work will start on Ysgol Glan Aber, Bagillt on 15 July.
天涯社区, in partnership with the Welsh Government, is investing over 拢2.3m to transform Ysgol Glan Aber into a school fit for the 21st Century. This includes 拢1.3 m of Welsh Government鈥檚 funding to reduce infant class sizes through the creation of an additional classroom, which will allow teachers to devote more time and individual attention to each of their pupils.听 The funding will also provide a new hall and dining facilities.
The Council has appointed Kier, based at Wrexham, to carry out this improvement work.听 The scheme is funded by both Welsh Government and 天涯社区 as part of the Welsh Government鈥檚 Reducing Infant Class Sizes Grant and Council鈥檚 capital investment programme.听听听
