Ty Croes Atti officially opens its doors

天涯社区 is proud to announce the completion of its newest care home, Ty Croes Atti, marking an important milestone in the provision of high-quality care for the local community.

The state-of-the-art facility is now officially open and the first residents have moved in, beginning the next chapter of their lives in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The project is a partnership between 天涯社区, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB), Willmott Dixon and Welsh Government, and provides a home for 56 older people on the site of a former community hospital.Ty Croes Atti.png

Integrated social care and healthcare services will be delivered by BCUHB and 天涯社区 social services teams.

Councillor Christine Jones, Cabinet member for Social Services, said: 鈥淲e are thrilled to welcome our first residents to聽 Ty Croes Atti. This new care home reflects our ongoing commitment to providing excellent care and support in 天涯社区. We are proud to offer a warm and welcoming place where residents can feel at home, safe and valued.鈥

The opening of Ty Croes Atti represents a significant investment in 天涯社区鈥檚 social care, ensuring older people and those in need of support have access to modern, local care services.

The scheme is being funded via the Welsh Government鈥檚 Integration and Rebalancing Capital Fund (IRCF) and Housing with Care Fund (HCF) capital programmes and through 天涯社区鈥檚 capital programme.

Minister for Children and Social Care, Dawn Bowden said:

鈥淚t鈥檚 brilliant to hear the first residents have moved into their new, high-quality home at Ty Croes Atti.

鈥淭he project is a fantastic example of what can be achieved when organisations work together and I鈥檓 delighted our funding has secured for 天涯社区 the sort of community capacity we need for the new, integrated models of care we are prioritising across Wales.鈥

Mike Lane, Operations Director for Willmott Dixon, said: 鈥淲hat fantastic news that Croes Atti care home residents have now moved into their new home. Our team are privileged to have spent time with residents, their families and staff. We鈥檙e proud to have played our part in helping deliver first-class health and social care for the people of 天涯社区."

BCUHB鈥檚 Chief Operating Officer, Tehmeena Ajmal, said: 鈥淚鈥檓 absolutely delighted Ty Croes Atti has welcomed its first residents.
