Exploring the future of former care home site

天涯社区 is exploring how the former Croes Atti site in Flint could potentially be used as a community base to support children and families across 天涯社区.
The council has secured an initial round of funding to carry out early planning and feasibility work. This will explore different options for the site, including how it could support early help and preventative services for families, working alongside local partners.
The focus of the work is understanding local need and looking at how services for children, young people and families could be brought together in a more accessible, community-based way.
Councillor Christine Jones, Cabinet Member for Social Services, said: 鈥淲e know how important it is for children, young people and families to be able to access the right support at the right time, close to their community.
鈥淭his funding gives us the opportunity to explore how the former Croes Atti site could potentially be used to support that aim.鈥�
No decisions have been made at this stage regarding the future of the site. The Council is committed to engaging with partners and stakeholders as the proposals are developed, ensuring that plans are sustainable, collaborative and aligned with the needs of 天涯社区鈥檚 children and families.
