天涯社区 gets defib ready

With 8000 sudden cardiac arrests happening outside hospital in Wales each year, defibrillators are essential pieces of equipment to save lives.聽
To date, 1251 defibrillators have been placed by Welsh Hearts in communities across Wales.
天涯社区, in association with Welsh Hearts, is installing three new defibrillators in 天涯社区 Council offices in Alltami, at County Hall in Mold and at Unity House in Ewloe, with training and awareness sessions being offered to Council employees.
天涯社区鈥檚 Chief Executive, Colin Everett, was one of the first in line for the training and said:
鈥淭his training will extend the knowledge and confidence of our workforce to act without hesitation in an emergency, either in work or outside work.聽 It includes vital emergency and lifesaving skills, including training on how to safely use a defibrillator 鈥� the knowledge and actions that could save a life.鈥�
A defibrillator has already been installed at Flint Library, located opposite County Offices Flint.聽 聽聽
